What families are saying
Testimonials
Incredibly caring, kind, and capable
McKayla cared for my youngest daughter from newborn to about 3 months old, coming to our home 2-3 times a week to support us during those early, sleepless months. She helped with nighttime care, bringing my baby to me for feedings when needed, bottle-feeding during other wake ups, and making sure I could actually rest and recover.
From the very beginning, I felt completely confident that my daughter was in the best hands. McKayla is incredibly caring, kind, and capable, the kind of person who brings calm and warmth into your home. Her support allowed me to catch up on much-needed sleep and be more present for my family in the mornings.
Warm, steady presence
We worked with McKayla when our daughter was just a few days old until she was a few months old, and she was such a huge help to our family. From the very beginning, she was reliable, always on time, and great at communicating if anything came up. We felt completely comfortable leaving our baby in her care, and it was clear how much she genuinely cared about both our daughter and our family.
She did overnight care for us while we slept, which was a lifesaver — especially since our daughter was born small and needed to eat every three hours. Every morning, she’d give us clear, thoughtful updates about how the night went — how much milk our daughter drank, how she slept, and how she was doing overall. She even took care of cleaning all my pumping supplies during the night, which made things so much easier for me.
McKayla also helped us during the day — watching our daughter so I could nap, or pitching in with little chores like dishes and folding laundry. She was always kind, calm, and thoughtful. It was clear how comfortable our daughter was in her care, like having another family member around to help.
I know she’s now offering sleep consulting, and I can’t imagine a better person to help families through those early months or with baby sleep challenges. She has such a warm, steady presence and a real gift for supporting new parents.

A word from McKayla
Hi, I'm McKayla -
and this is my gentle giant, Everest. When I’m not supporting families and newborns, you’ll find us out for a walk (rain or shine) or visiting friends around our neighborhood.
I’m a proud Colorado native who has called Arvada, Westminster, Lyons, and Broomfield home. Living and working in these communities has given me the joy of connecting with families of all kinds, each with their own unique rhythm and story. Being invited into those early days with a growing family is an experience I cherish deeply.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. My own family is close-knit, and we love gathering to share meals, celebrate, and simply enjoy time together. Becoming an aunt has been one of my greatest joys. My niece and twin nephews were all born in the same year, and watching them grow has been such a gift.
Professionally, I bring over a decade of experience as a nanny, newborn care specialist, and postpartum doula. I’ve supported families across Colorado, including high-profile households, caring for babies of all ages and helping parents find calm and confidence in their transition to life with a new little one.
I feel deeply grateful for the family, friends, and community that surround me, and for the opportunity to spend my days doing work that truly fills my heart.
